Gravestone Survey

Dunnichen Heritage Society will work with Tay Valley Family History Society to record the gravestones of Dunnichen Churchyard. Members should meet at the church on Saturday 10th May at 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. and Sunday 11th May from 1.00 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.
Bring a picnic, suncream, umberella, chair and all necessary items for sitting outside.

Hello there - I was wondering how the gravestone project is going. We live in New Zealand but will spend all of October in Scotland. I think my great great grandparents are buried in Dunnichen - somewhere!They would be Andrew and Janet Cairns (see below). If there is a record of and burial I would be grateful to know of it.

Sorry to be so long in finding this. We have now got a gravestone book published by the Tay Valley Family History Society which may be of use. There is also a cd-rom of gravestone photos.
